Notes for October 28th--Act1 Scenes A-C
Lucy--pick up a coin backstage to give to August when you take his basket. There's one for you on the stage left table.
Everyone needs to be careful about their positioning in relation to the other actors around them and cheat out...always always cheat out. If you can see the Exit Sign or an entrance into the VOM in front of you, you aren't looking out into the audience.
Please learn your lines and your cues. PLEASE.
Princesses...you need to deliver your lines from inside the VOM. It may be close quarters at times and you may need to move in and out to allow each other to be there but you need to be much louder and clearer. When you deliver your lines from in the room stage right, no matter how loud you are, you sound like you are in the bottom of a very deep well and it is difficult to understand what you are saying.
Everyone please check the placement of your props and bring them on stage when you come.
Ava...you don't need your bag when you come on stage in the first scene. Just come onstage and visit with the other merchants.
Merchants please remember to reduce your loudness when the actors start walking down the aisle and pay attention to the adlibs. Pick a phrase or two and use them during those moments of reaction.
