Smiles and Frowns Playhouse hosts an artwork contest for every production. These graphics are then used to illustrate our programs, T-shirts, flyers, and online marketing. Winners receive two free tickets to a show and a show T-shirt.
Artists must be 18 years of age or younger and a North Carolina resident. Examples of past winners may be found by click on an individual production under Shows or viewed framed copies in the Ayden Recreation Center lobby hallway. Show specific due dates are published in our News section and the Facebook page near when auditions are announced.

Requirements
- Drawn with black pen or very dark pencil.
- Must be on 8.5×11 or smaller white paper (no lines or notebook pages).
- Do not include the name of the show (this information will be added later).
- Include the artist’s name.
