Congratulations to the 2026 winner of the Andrea Croskery Scholarship, Griff Brimhall!
Griffith J. Brimhall has been a lifelong supporter of Smiles and Frowns. He has acted in 6 of our plays, and was so grateful for the positive impact the theater community had on his life that he used his Eagle Scout Project to build multiple shelves to improve the organization of the costume closet.
He is a four-sport athlete, president or captain of multiple school organizations, member of several national honors societies, and the senior class president at D.H. Conley High School. He attended a prestigious residential academic program (NC Governor’s School) during summer of 2025.
All of these achievements culminated in him being accepted at Brigham Young University (BYU). He attributes a lot of his success in life and in school to the creativity and confidence he learned on stage at Smiles and Frowns.
Congratulations again to Griff! We are so proud of his hard work, and we can’t wait to see what he achieves next!
