The holidays are in full swing, but we’re already looking forward to next spring thanks to receiving a Grassroots Grant from the North Carolina Arts Council for spring workshops. This grant requires our organization to match all funds dollar for dollar.
Enter “Giving Tuesday,” a day set aside for supporting charities and community organizations since 2012. Our recent production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” had 42 cast and crew participants. We’re therefore looking for 42 ten dollar donations on December 3.
Of course, we never say no to any gift, of any amount, at any time. We also know holidays are expensive and that there are many worthy causes to support. $420 is our goal to help us ensure each of those 42 kids has the opportunity to participate in spring workshops.
