Smiles and Frowns Playhouse

Smiles and Frowns Playhouse revisited The Wonderful Wizard of Oz in celebration of its 30th anniversary season. It was a world premier of a new adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s classic children’s story by Susan McCrea. Also new for Smiles and Frowns Playhouse was the use of periaktoi, ancient Greek, three-sided, rotating devices which allow for rapidly changing theater scenes.
